CCR Question #2 Draft
My magazine will engage my audience because first of
all the captivating cover photo which will grab the attention of the consumer.
Once they pick it up for a quick skim hey will see the article photos and the
interest grabbing titles. I’ve seen professional magazines such as Food Network
use this tactic. Once they take it home my articles will complement why they
bought the issue in the first place.
For the distribution aspect I will be placing my
product in grocery stores and at tourist location stores. I’m putting them in
those locations because that’s where my target audience will likely be. I will
have a subscription program as well where we mail new issues each month. In
addition to the program the magazines will be online available digitally. We
will incorporate social media to help spread our product whether its ads,
photos, or little segments of articles.

CCR Question #4 Draft
Technologies I integrated into my project were the camera on my Iphone 11. I took pictures with this camera as well as adjust some of the lighting in the photo on the phones photo editing option. I also used Microsoft Publisher in the beginning of my process then as i became more advanced switched to Adobe Indesign to edit and create the magazine layout/pages. I switched to Adobe because of the greater variety of commands to make the magazine look more professional. Some of the features that I used were the fonts, colors, text, edging, moving text around pictures, etc.
CCR Question #3 Draft
My production skills did develop through the process of this project. In the beginning my skills were not the strongest I was using the easiest software but now that i have practiced and worked hard i can now use more advanced software. I also have obtained information on the media studies subject that i can incorporate into my project to make it more professional. I would say i am more proficient with camera shots and using the software.
CCR Question#1 Draft
Conventions I utilized in my project for camera shots were close ups and wide shots. I incorporated these because the close ups make the image of the meal/food more significant and mouthwatering. For the wide shots I put those in because It gives the essence of a good restaurant. What makes a good restaurant is not only the food but the dinning space So thats why I used that shot. Another convention I used is font. I choose to make the font standard for the body text but for my title and other main subtitles I changed it to an elegant font to not only boost the look of the restaurant but to catch the attention of my target audience. The social groups represented in my magazine are tourists, cooks, and or people who are just looking for a good restaurant. Id say the readers would/could be 25 years old or above. How they are represented is the content of the magazine is directed toward them rather than them being in it.

3rd Quarter Submission
This is my third quarter submission. For the cover page I didn't change anything. For the table of contents i changed the background so instead of a full page picture the picture covers half the middle third. For my two page article I changed the whole layout I used a different program and made the text all flow together and look more professional. I also changed the background color to nothing instead of a solid color. The changes I have made will hopefully benefit my magazine cost wise and consumption wise
